Big Click Syndicate LLC ("Big Click Syndicate," "we," "us") operates bigclicksyndicate.com and related sites, newsletters, courses, and tools, including software that helps us respond to comments and messages on our own social media accounts and software that schedules and publishes posts to our own social media accounts. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you subscribe to a newsletter, fill out a form, register for a course or event, or make a purchase, we collect information such as your name, email address, and billing details. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring links — through cookies and analytics tools. This helps us understand how our sites are used and improve them.
Social media interactions. When you interact with our social media accounts (for example, by commenting a keyword on one of our Instagram posts or sending our account a message), we may process your public username, the content of your comment or message, and related metadata through Meta's official APIs, solely to respond to your request — such as replying to your comment or sending you a link you asked for. We only process interactions with our own accounts and posts. We do not sell this information or use it to build advertising profiles.
Social Media Publishing Tools
We operate a self-hosted social media scheduling tool at social.bigclicksyndicate.com that publishes content to social media accounts owned or managed by Big Click Syndicate, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. When an account is connected to this tool through the platform's official sign-in (OAuth), we receive and store:
- Basic profile information for the connected account, such as account name, username, profile picture, and account or page ID
- Access and refresh tokens that allow the tool to publish on that account's behalf
- The posts, images, and videos we create and schedule, along with publishing status and basic performance metrics the platform provides for those posts
This information is used only to schedule, publish, and report on our own content. We do not use it to access other people's accounts, read private messages, or build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or share it. Tokens and content are stored on our own server and are not shared with third parties other than the social platform receiving the post. Connected accounts can be disconnected at any time from the tool or from the platform's app settings (for example, LinkedIn's Permitted Services, Facebook's Business Integrations, or TikTok's Manage App Permissions), which revokes our access; we delete stored tokens for a disconnected account.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Deliver what you asked for — newsletters, purchases, course access, downloads, or a resource you requested through a social media comment or message
- Schedule and publish content to our own social media accounts
- Operate, maintain, and improve our websites, products, and services
- Send marketing emails you have opted into (every email includes an unsubscribe link)
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate — such as email platforms, payment processors, hosting providers, and analytics services — and only as needed for them to perform those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
Data from Social Platforms
Where we process data received through the APIs of Meta (Facebook and Instagram), LinkedIn, TikTok, or other social platforms, we do so in accordance with each platform's developer terms and policies, including the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, the LinkedIn API Terms of Use, and the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. This data is used only to operate the interaction you initiated or to publish and measure our own content, is retained only as long as needed for that purpose and for operational logs, and is deleted upon valid request.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe. To request deletion of data related to a social media interaction, include the username you interacted from.
Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of our sites function.
Children
Our sites and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
